Javis Manufacturing

Javis was started in 1950 by Jim and Avis Bridge in a small shop in Stockport. Jim Bridge responded to an advert in the Exchange and Mart of a company who were making a range of small Balsa Aircraft and were looking for a distributor. In his efforts to sell the range ,he began to get asked for other products associated with the Model Trade. Hence Javis began to progress.

The company rapidly expanded and In 1973 they began to develop a competitively priced range of Scenic which are still generally accepted as the leading brand in their field. The range has been expanded over recent years into the wargaming markets and prove popular.
