Sky Backscenes any scale

ID Backscenes…

They are made for any scale.

Real photo images printed on heavyweight 180gsm paper or Premium self-adhesive polypropylene, both are printed in UV fade-resistant inks for long life.

Each pack is 10 foot long (in two 5’ sheet) and available in 15 and 24 inch tall.

Peco Backscenes…

Supplied on three separate sheets which match together to form a continuous run of 2400mm (95in) Printed on paper, to be glued to your backing. 2400mm (95inch) long. 333mm (13in) tall. (sorry we have no information from Peco on how to fix these paper scenes)

With all printed products there may be a slight difference in colour shades from pack to pack.

What glue to use

The paper does not need every square inch to be glued for it to remain in place. Always use the least amount of glue you can and never apply large quantities of paste or glue to the backscene prior to fitting it in place.

There is a wide range of ways to fix your backscene in place including Wallpaper paste or diluted PVA glue, Spray glue, Pritt Stick and Glue Dots. A single strip of double-sided tape applied close to the top of the backboard has been found to be very effective.
