Coal Storage Compound OO GM498

Part of the Fordhampton range from Gaugemaster.

These compounds were used for the storage of bulk materials such as coal, sand, ballast or other aggregate material.

Traditionally found alongside goods sidings and platforms in larger goods yards or builders merchants, these compounds allowed storage of the materials for onward transportation via road or rail.

This kit can be extended with duplicate kits to form larger storage compounds. It will also make two individual compounds, although there are not enough posts to complete one side, this could be left open for access.

In with the kit is a bag of realistic model coal.

This kit contains 91 plastic parts, moulded in 2 colours, additional painting can be applied during construction if desired. 

A glue for plastic is needed to complete the kit.
