We have been stocking Railway back-board Backscenes for a number of years.
They are made in N gauge and come in a range of scenes from Hills and Dales to Village or industrial scene.
Real photo images printed on heavyweight 180gsm paper in UV fade-resistant inks for long life.
Each pack is 10 feet long (in two 5’ sheet) and 9” tall.
Note these scenes are meant to be viewed from a distance and may be out of focus or blurred close to.
With all printed products there may be a slight difference in colour shades from pack to pack.
What glue to use The paper does not need every square inch to be glued for it to remain in place. Always use the least amount of glue you can and never apply large quantities of paste or glue to the backscene prior to fitting it in place. There is a wide range of ways to fix your backscene in place including Wallpaper paste or diluted PVA glue, Spray glue, Pritt Stick and Glue Dots. A single strip of double-sided tape applied close to the top of the backboard has been found to be very effective. We also stock a specialised glue, see here |
